My 92 year old dad bounces back…

… and even adds a bit of humour. Last night my husband and I spent the whole night in hospital with my mum and dad because my dad didn’t feel well. To put this in context, my dad doesn’t usually get ill so of course we were worried when he asked to go to A&E.

After many scans and tests during last night and this morning, he’s been given a clean bill of health (apart from feeling a little bit unsteady on his feet). They allowed him home this afternoon.

What I love about my dad is his ability to smile and joke even in the midst of something like this. He’s a true inspiration to us all and I know he will bounce back in no time (and he’ll probably be on the exercise bike by the end of the day 😂).

On a more lighter note the Chinese takeaway that my husband and I had to abandon last night, we enjoyed for breakfast 😆 and there’s still some left over!

Hope you’re all having a great Saturday, I’ve had a few short naps 💤🥱.

Take care

About Sandra Madeira

I am a working mum and entrepreneur with a passion for writing, coaching, mentoring and inspiring others. Subjects I tend to blog about are life skills, parenting, decluttering, worklife balance, career etc. I’ve been on a decluttering mission for years creating space in my house, garden and mind. In 2020 I challenged myself to declutter every day for a whole year and write about it daily. After that success I took on a challenge to change my career from accountant to life coach, and in early 2024 set up my own company. I continue to keep up with the decluttering, and now write daily about my home life and coaching business. Have a good day!
