Have you got too many commitments?

How often do you look at your to-do list and feel overwhelmed before you’ve even started?

Here’s something worth trying.

Go through your list and ask yourself for each item… is this linked to something I’ve actually committed to?

Not something I think I should do.

Not something someone else expects of me.

Something I have genuinely committed to.

Mark those ones.

I think you’ll surprise yourself.

Because a lot of what ends up on our to-do lists are things we’ve said yes to, without even realising it was a commitment.

When you can see the connection between your tasks and your commitments, the list stops feeling like a burden and starts feeling like a purpose.

That’s a very different way to start your day. 💛

Until next time

About Sandra Madeira

I am a working mum and entrepreneur with a passion for writing, coaching, mentoring and inspiring others. Subjects I tend to blog about are life skills, parenting, decluttering, worklife balance, career etc. I’ve been on a decluttering mission for years creating space in my house, garden and mind. In 2020 I challenged myself to declutter every day for a whole year and write about it daily. After that success I took on a challenge to change my career from accountant to life coach, and in early 2024 set up my own company. I continue to keep up with the decluttering, and now write daily about my home life and coaching business. Have a good day!
