Time with the children individually

Today it was my youngest daughter’s birthday and we bought her a Maxi Micro scooter.  I decided to take her out on it by herself and spend some time with her; she loved having my undivided attention.  I then took my eldest daughter out to help her learn how to ride a bike without stabilisers.

Although we all love doing things together, taking my girls out individually isn’t something I normally do.  Today it was lovely and I know they enjoyed it – I really had the time to watch, encourange, motivate and teach them.  We’ve agreed to make it a regular thing, even if it’s just half and hour each weekend.

Hope you’ve had a good day.

Until next time…

Sandra

About Sandra Madeira

I am a working mum and entrepreneur with a passion for writing, coaching, mentoring and inspiring others. Subjects I tend to blog about are life skills, parenting, decluttering, worklife balance, career etc. I’ve been on a decluttering mission for years creating space in my house, garden and mind. In 2020 I challenged myself to declutter every day for a whole year and write about it daily. After that success I took on a challenge to change my career from accountant to life coach, and in early 2024 set up my own company. I continue to keep up with the decluttering, and now write daily about my home life and coaching business. Have a good day!
