Today was one of those days where things just went my way. Don’t you just love it when that happens? I feel that it’s important to acknowledge successes, however small they may be, so here goes:

Two hours to catch up on coaching: I was supposed to have a two hour coaching workshop this morning to discuss where we were all up to; however, I was the only one that was available to attend so it got postponed for a couple of weeks. The two hours that I’d blocked out in my calendar meant that I could spend focused time catching up on my reflective learning logs without any interruptions. This is going to move me forward on the course.

The sun shone today and all the washing dried before I had to bring it in which meant that I didn’t have to hang it around the house to dry this evening.

I found a solution to a problem at work: There was this troublesome issue that a few of us have been struggling to resolve over the last week. I had a call with a support person today and we managed to find a way to resolve it. This is going to move me forward on that project.

My new towel rail turned up so I can now stop putting the tea towel on the handle of the drawer (left pic below) which has annoyed me for soooo long because it made it difficult to get into the cupboard beneath it.

Movie night with my lovely girls: My husband went out, so the girls and I had fish and chips and watched High School Musical 3 cuddled up under a blanket on the sofa. It’s the first time I’ve seen that one and it was a fun film.

Just before watching the movie, I quickly vacuumed the lounge and accidentally went over the Alexa cable and it got caught in the brush.

I’ll now need to buy a new cable because it’s exposed the wires in three places. Oh well! There’s a reason for everything – it made me clean out the two brush rolls which were filled with hair and clumps of dust

I think it’s amazing how quickly the brush rolls and filters fill up.

I’m so pleased that’s its Friday tomorrow.
