I’m starting to feel a bit like Cinderella. Every time I feel fed up about something (in my case it’s usually relating to mess and clutter, not because I have to sleep in the attic 😀), I find that the mice have intervened which bizarrely motivates me to move forward.
A couple of weeks ago, I had an afternoon off and decided to spend 30 minutes minimum in the garage going through the boxes and vacuum bags that had previously been in the loft. I knew that most of it was going to be going to charity, but I wasn’t looking forward to facing the girls’ baby clothes that I’d kept up there all these years, all neatly organised in separately labelled bags according to size. They’d been in the garage for a couple of months, still sealed apart from one bag that I peeped into a few weeks before.
For all the clutter-clearers out there… do you think that we intentionally put things somewhere where they could get spoilt, to help us with a decision? Well, in this particular case it worked. One small bag of clothes was shredded on one side and although there was no actual mice evidence, I knew they’d been there. I just don’t know if it was whilst the clothes were in the loft or since they’ve been in the garage.
Decision Made
You’ve never seen me move so fast! I threw that whole bag away without even checking the rest of the contents that I’d lovingly kept all these years. I then washed the contents of the other sealed bags and put them in the boot of my car ready for the next charity run.

Someone may as well make use of the clothes before the mice make a return 😂.
Until next time…
Sandra
It’s funny how quickly a decision can be made with a little extra help! Good for you.
Absolutely, but it would be good if I could make decisions just as quick without mice being involved 😀
