I finished the wine yesterday and therefore it’s just blogging and cooking today. I love writing and wine much more than cooking, so adding a bit of blogging to the mix of making the shepherd’s pie, helps to ease the pain of standing in the kitchen cooking for the family.
After work I’d much rather log onto my laptop and begin writing, but I have to come up with some kind of meal instead. Whilst I was peeling potatoes a moment ago, I thought let’s do a blog whilst I wait for the potatoes to boil and the mince to cook!
I think I might just have one day a week where I get the writing out of my system before I think about dinner. Or get a takeaway maybe? Ooops, almost burnt the mince… must dash.
