Day 94: The Conservatory Now Has a Purpose

Mid-March, I was trying to find a purpose for the conservatory. Who would have thought that it would end up being my office for the foreseeable future as well as a room to a relax or exercise.

I’m not quite finished yet; however, over the last month I have been boxing things up, cleaning the windows, rearranging furniture, and having the roof cleaned. I’ve also set up a workstation in there whilst I’m working from home.

Today, I sorted through some clutter over in the other corner and moved the small table and lamp next to the armchair. The good thing about all of this is that I’m using furniture and other items that we already have; I’ve not been tempted to buy anything new. I would love to have new matching furniture and new flooring one day, but right now this will do.

I still have one corner to sort out but here’s where I’ve got to so far.

Until tomorrow…

About Sandra Madeira

I am a working mum and entrepreneur with a passion for writing, coaching, mentoring and inspiring others. Subjects I tend to blog about are life skills, parenting, decluttering, worklife balance, career etc. I’ve been on a decluttering mission for years creating space in my house, garden and mind. In 2020 I challenged myself to declutter every day for a whole year and write about it daily. After that success I took on a challenge to change my career from accountant to life coach, and in early 2024 set up my own company. I continue to keep up with the decluttering, and now write daily about my home life and coaching business. Have a good day! 1. Looks like you put in a lot of work, looks great. I recently moved my desk to face the window and I find it much better that I have something to look directly out onto.
