I’m assuming that I’m not the only one with a junk cupboard or two, or three. Anyway, in our spare room we have two cupboards and the one that I decided to sort out today hasn’t been sorted out for a long time; however, things do get shoved in now and again. The last time I opened the door, I remember there not being much more room to add anything else. The video below shows the big reveal of the ‘stuff’ before taking everything out.
As you could see in the video, the first door got stuck when I opened it and when I opened the left door, things I had previously wedged in fell down.
The old PlayStation 2 and games were taking up the entire top shelf.

I was about to box up the PlayStation 2 when a couple of games caught my eye that my husband and I used to play with friends and family when the girls were little. I had an idea to set it all up and give the quiz and music games a go later this evening and everyone agreed.
About half the stuff in the cupboard went into the garage. It was a mix of dressing up clothes, jigsaws and toys. The remaining boxes now stacked up in the room for me to go through. There are a lot of photos… some loose and some organised into albums. There are also many boxes of papers, books and random bits and bobs.
I think that I could spend an entire weekend just going through and organising paperwork. As for the photos and books, that’s a whole other story.
Fun in the clutter

We had a lot of fun playing buzz and singstar with the girls this evening until really late.
Sometimes things that you find can be fun or bring back memories. It’s not all junk; it just needs to be better organised.
I gave the cupboard a good clean ready for whatever needs to be put back.

All and all, a very productive day.
Until tomorrow…
Sandra
I sorted out my cupboard like yours, just last week, to make changes. I will have lived where I currently live 2 years in October time. I have not had a look properly since I moved in. I knew there was a few things to get rid of. Which I was glad to do.
Well done. I know how good it feels to get things organised.
There’s something very satisfying in sorting stuff out.
Absolutely! It’s great when you can sit back and see the work you’ve done
Glad you were able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
